Rohan Deshpande is a managing director, technology fellow, and global head of Cloud Platform for Goldman Sachs,responsible for cloud transformation and the acceleration of the firm's cloud strategy. Prior to his current role, he was global head of Application Development Platform and Developer AI, responsible for AI adoption and scaling for engineers across the firm. Before joining the firm, Rohan worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he served as a principal engineer and led initiatives focused on mobile, web, databases, and messaging. Prior to AWS, he worked at LPL Financial as a senior software architect, responsible for portfolio, account lifecycle, and client-facing systems. Rohan serves as Vice Chair of the Fintech Open Source Foundation and represents the firm on the board of the GraphQL Foundation. He also serves as a trustee on the board of the French American School of Puget Sound. Rohan earned a BS in Computer Science from Baylor University in 2002.
